Back on track!

Hahahaha! Here's how I know that I am not such a great blogger (YET)... 

Um, well, I forgot how to access my blog! I couldn't even find it out there on the world-wide web, for goodness sake! Of, course, our little 3-ring circus has been on the move like crazy for the last year, so I *could* say that I haven't had time to blog at all. The fact of the matter, though, is that I go on tangents of things I love, or things that take hold of my interest and run with it. 

I guess my mind ran off to join the circus!

 Lucky me! I just happen to subscribe to a lovely friend-of-a-friend's beautiful, wonderful glittered nest blog, and THAT is exactly what keeps bringing me back to my fascination with blogging. So, when I got yet another email from glittered nest, I found the determination to search for, and ultimately find(!), my blog. Yay!  So here I go... And thanks, Terri, for your blogging inspiration!

It's SUMMER!!! With all four energetic, artsy children at home under the BIG TOP, I am both overwhelmed and excited about the possibilities of creating some memories, music, art & movies together.  In case you don't know, this blog's theme is circus related because all 3 rings (or sometimes more) seem to be performing at once, and, well, sometimes it's a spectacle.  

In the Center Ring, 

we have the high school sweethearts, married now for 17 years,

trying to sneak in a little bit of time for themselves.

Not.....happening.   

**But we are still smiling after all these years (and all these kids)!**

In another ring, we have THE LITTLES (ages 2 & 6) 

with their whirling, twirling, squealing and mess-making.
Here, they are posing quite happily (after a squabble over who was going to stand where)
to show off our FAMILY RULES CANVAS (more about that later).

In this photo they are covering their ears with high-tech ear muffs
because in another ring we have ...

THE BIGS (ages 12 & 10)

who are making VERY LOUD music (guitar, keyboard, singing & some drumming). 

They are quite talented and make me very proud!
Here we are experimenting with their 1st music video in front of a green screen.

They had their duet debut at the American Academy of Music and Dance

ROCK RECITAL this month.

They did a fantastic job performing in front of a live crowd at Juniors, 

but THE LITTLES were in NO WAY going to allow

THE BIGS to get all the attention!... Check this out:
